Education & Tutoring

Educational support will be available throughout the sites. There will be two distinct methods of rendering support through education. For youth who are still in school, there will be homework and tutoring assistance. Also, there will be GED programs available to those youth who are not in school. There are generally two types of tutoring and homework assistance: They are formal programs offered by a consistent group of instructors following an established schedule, with more informal academic assistance available on an irregular or as-needed basis. The sites will have computers available to their participants, regardless of whether they are informally or formally enrolled in the program.
